Trip Update

Well we have been in Boston since Sunday afternoon. So far Boston has been very crowded and the subways at rush hour is horrible. Other than that I am loving Boston! I love just walking downtown and looking at all the shops and going in them and seeing what the sell. :) I haven't really gotten any souvenirs, I did get some jewelry that I really like and that was like my first time actually buying and jewelry in my life. I have really never found any that I like anywhere else until I came to Boston. Everything is so expensive up here though but I am not that surprised. I love taking the subways to get places. I would love to either work in a city like Boston or go to school. So far I have loved everything except my feet are killing me!! :( We leave tomorrow or something like that to go to Nova Scotia and I'm really excited about that one. I have saved all my souvenir for that. I have always loved Canada and never really been there except for Niagara Falls. Then we will go to Connecticut to see my moms side of the family and I love going to see them there sooo funny specially Uncle Gene. Then we will go see my Aunt Terri and Uncle Dan and my cousins and were going to Mystic Seaport and I think that will be a lot of fun and I get to hang out with Emily and Im really looking forward to that alot!! :)

Sarah's Year Long Battle

Today was a better day than Monday was. The kids werent as cranky and they invited friends to come over and play with them so that kept them occupied. So the girl that I have been praying for every night died tonight around 7. She is only 14 and was diagnosed with brain cancer 1 year ago. She was so sweet and kind and was a very strong Christian. I know that she is with her Father now in heaven. I know that it is hard on the parents and her best friend. If you could just keep the family in prayer. She went into a coma earlier this evening and the doctors said she would only have a couple more hours to live. It is do hard to believe that she is gone forever until we meet her in heaven again. These kind of situations really tear me up and they make me look at my life more seriously. Im just glad that Sarah will not have to suffer anymore and try to fight it, because she is in a better place and is in peace. Just keep the family in prayer as I know they are hurting deeply.

A Night Out With Some Friends

Today was my day off and I slept in until 10:30 this morning and it felt so good because I was so tired last night and from my hard day yesterday. This morning I just went and got my sports physical and that took about and hour and a half. After that we went to look around at our mall and some of the shops like Dillards and Belk. Im think Im going to go and hang out with my neighbor and play with her freinds and then come home and go pick up my friend and go out to eat at Heros tonight around 7 with a whole bunch of friends. These friends are from my old school New Hanover so it will be nice to see them again and I will have to take some pictures. I will update you on how it went.

Bad Day turns into a Pretty Good Day

Well today was one of the worst day watching the kids that I nanny for. The were so bad that I didnt know what to do with them. I told the little girl that she couldnt have something and she picked up the hanger and just threw it at me and hit my eye. It hurt really bad. My bad day turned into a better day when I got home though, I talked to my mom about the really hard day and she understood and gave me some good advice. It was so nice to just come home and it was nice and quite, because my brother had gone to the beach with a couple of his friends. So my mom and I talked for about an hour and then I had to go to my volleyball games. That was even better because we won both of them and I got to take out my anger in a good way. HAHA!! Well it has been a long day for me and Im tired and 2mrw I have the day OFF!! Hip HIP Hooray Im so excited. Have a good Monday night that is. :)

One More Week

Today has been a good day so far. We wen to church this morning and then we came home and made dinner and watched the EURO Championship game. Spain won and we were routing for them so my brother and my dad were happy. We leave a week from today for our big 2 week trip. Were going to Nova Scotia, Boston and Conn. I think it will be a pretty fun trip. Im hoping that we will get to see my cousins on this trip too. Well everyone have a good rest of there Sunday.

Just Stuff

Everything is going well with my job. I am very busy during the week with the kids whether its taking them places or just running around in the yard with them in the hott sun. The only thing that Im finding yard is to divide up the time that I spend with them evenly. We will be leaving for our big two week trip pretty soon and Im pretty excited about that. Im also reading the best books ever right now and their by Robin Jones Gunn she writes the Christy Miller Collection, Sierra Jensen Collection and some other books and there every fun to read and I have read 3 of her collections this past weekend and finished the 3rd one last night. Their those books that you just cant put down because you want to know what is going to happen next. Well Im probably going to the beach this weekend and spend my Saturday there just reading. Its is so nice to have a beach 15 mins away and I ussualy go there with my neighbor and her 3 kids, their the kids that I babysit on weekends. Well its late and I have to wake up and go to work 2mrw talk to you guys later.

Jacks Battle

I was looking at my uncles blog earlier and the title Jacks Battle caught my eye. So I went to it and it was about this 3 year old boy that died of Glioblastoma Multiforme brain tumor. It was so sad, because you know how much I love kids. I was thinking and that would be like my cousin Mason getting cancer and dieing or the little boy I babysit and his name is Matthew and he is my favorite kid ever. I do believe that storys like that can change people I know that it has me thinking now. The faith that the parents had to have is just amazing and I look up to people like that. I wish that I would have heard about it earlier so that I could have donated some money, but I live in NC and it happened in PA.

The Wind Down of My Decesion

So it is coming down to I need to pick what school I'm going to my senior year. I know it only one year. Its hard though and I hate making decisions, I like to make little ones like where to go to eat and stuff like this but not these kinds. I mean I will gain alot if I do go to WCA next year like I have a better chance of playing volleyball in a Christian college and will get a better christian education. I will also miss alot of things about New Hanover too, like my friends and teachers and my volleyball coach I think I will miss her most of all!! I know that its not like any of my friends at New Hanover are going to end up at a Christian college or anything, but their friends and I'm still going to miss them alot. So I'm pretty sure that I'm going to WCA, but I still not 100% sure. Its probably not that big of a decision but its big to me and its a hard one too. Please just keep me in your prayers and so that I will make a good decision. Thank you for your support too!!!!

Job Hunting

Well... its here again, summer time. I love the summer time and everything like that, because it is so hard to find a summer job. I love working with kids as you know and there just aren't any daycare centers that hire kids under 18 even with experience. I just have one more year and I think that it will be a little easier to find a summer job but still not so sure. Well if y'all could just keep me in your prayers and I'm really hoping that i can find a summer job soon and quick. Today I must have gone a zillion places to get applications. I think that I went to about 6 daycare centers and filled out applications and then that's not even counting all the other places I went too. Well I'm very tired!!!!!

CHAMPIONS

So our soccer team won the CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!!! It was sooooo exciting. Here are some pictures of the game and them getting there metals. It was so great!!! The second picture is the line up before the game the did it like a professional games start. The third picture is of Tim in goal playing keeper. The fourth picture is of Tim just received his gold metal and is very pleased. The last picture is of the whole team after they received there gold metals and they are #1. The first picture is of my 3 favorite brothers. Tim is my real brother and Nick and Luke are brothers and call me there sister and I love them so much.

A Big Decision

So here it comes agian everyone says there are big decesions in life and I have just come across another one. I am trying to decide if i should switch schools my senior year to go to My old Christian school. I have been going to the volleyball workouts and the coach wants me to play for her and I just cant decide if i want to give up all my friends at New Hanover to switch back there. The coach there said I'm good enough to play in college and that is like one of my life goals and its like a dream. I would do anything to play in college, but i guess I'm not going to see all my friends at New Hanover in college unless i go to a Christian College. Which I'm probably going to be going too. I dont want to go away to far from my home just to go to college but if i can play volleyball for this Christian College down in Florida i would be there in a second. I just dont know and alot of people are like you have a while until college, but i really dont cause my junior year went by alot quicker than i had expected it to go. I just want to go to a college where i can be close to family because in my life family is the closest thing to me!! Well i had to just get some of that off my chest and its a really hard decision because its going to affect my future in away. So if you guys could just keep me in your prayers and PLEASE give me so advice. I really would like a little help and will take any advice and think about it. Well thanks for just letting me blab.... lol that's what us women like to do.

Every Day Stuff and Weekend Plans!!!

Havent really had that much time to update my blog. I have been slacking:) Not really I have been focusing on my subjects in school. Today was a pretty good day. I hve only had to make one big decision and that was me playing softball this year I decided not to play this year and since it is my junior year and they keep saying this is the most important year of high school I decided I better do good this year. I really just didnt have any passion to play it either. Im still going to keep up with volleyball though. I love volleyball and will never stop playing it. Last Friday we had a youth retreat and we went skating until 130 in the morning and then had to be back at the church by 8 that same morning, didnt get that much sleep that night but it was a lot of fun to do. Dont know what Im doing this weekend yet. I will probably hang out with some friends and maybe go bowling with some people from our church, that should be fun and that is Saturday. I havent written on this in a long time and you would think I would have more to say but I really dont I do the same old thing every day and that is ussually school. Well.... I hope that everyone has a good weekend and have been doing great. The only new thing is that soccer has started back up for my brother so I have been helping my dad and coaching his team. I always find everything lots of fun and find it more fun when you add kids in the mix.

WEEKEND

Friday my mother and I took my brother and his friend Caleb to the movies to see "The Pirates That Don't Do Anything." It was a veggie tales movie it was okay but is really for younger kids. I almost fell asleep during the movie but my brother Tim and Caleb loved the movie and thought it was so funny. Saturday I took Tim and Caleb to there basketball game and then took my brother out to lunch and that is always fun. After that I took Tim home to play with Caleb and Caleb's mom was out so I took Tim and Caleb to Wilson's its a big restaurant and has a really big arcade with tons of games so we went there to play games and then his mom and brothers came and met us there and we all played video games. It was a good day. I babysit Caleb, Matthew and Parker almost every weekend they are my favorite kids in the whole world and I love them to death. Sunday was an okay day we went to church this morning and then we came home and made dinner and then watched the football games and i love football but I went on some kind of bored streak today and I will admit I was crazy and I think it was just because I was so tired. Well Tuesday I start all my new classes which should be real fun haha. Hope everyone had a good weekend and let me know how y'all are doing by leaving a comment.

MY DAY

Hope everyone had a good day. I went to school this morning and had a notebook check for my AVID class. AVID is a program that helps you stay organized in your studies and you have to keep a notebook that has all of your classes in it and you have to show all your work, like my teacher will come and tell me a date of when we did something and we will have to show it yo her and it can be challenging cause if you slack one day then your whole notebook gets all messed up and then she fails you. I did good though I got a 100% so i was satisfied. Well I'm probably going to be babysitting all weekend so when I get a chance I will leave another post. Love Ya ll and leave a comment!!!:) Went bowling again and then went out to eat with my friends was sooooo much fun!! We went to a Chinese restaurant and I also bowled 4 strikes today I was doing so good but I think it was because we had the bumpers up HAHA. Sorry to break it but I'm not that good at bowling I'm just use to helping the kids I babysit bowl HAHAHA!!! But It is so much fun just to fool around but once you don't break a 100 after 2 games it starts to get frustrating:/

Fun Days

EOC are done so excited!!!!! I'm going bowling with my friends tomorrow to celebrate the end of the semester. Nothing really happened today. I finished my exam around 12 and then left school and picked up my brother and then went to go and babysit my neighbors kids that's always fun cause the little kids call me sissy. I forgot my camera the last time we went bowling but I'm not going to forget it this time so I should have some funny pictures up by Friday or Saturday. Love y'all and have a good day.

My Weekend

Today was a pretty good day. This morning I went to my EOC tutor secession. It was so boring, I went for Algebra 2. This week I take all of my finial exams (fun)!! Me and my neighbor took her kids bowling they had lots of fun and so did we. Then went back to her house and played some air hockey with her. It was so much FUN!!:) Then I came home and studied for my finals and that wasnt so fun. Tomorrow Im going out to lunch after church with some of my friends and then were all going to go bowling it should be pretty fun and we were thinking about joining the bowling club at our school hahahahaha that would be an experiment. Friday after school I went with my friend to go and watch her cousin wrestle and hes like the 2nd best in the state it was really fun. That pretty sums up my weekend and I will probably have pictures tomorrow to put on my blog, of the fun day bowling with my friends.

College

So I have been thinking about college alot and where I want to go. And I really don't know yet, I have been to some colleges and they seemed neat but i just want to go somewhere were I can be myself. I already know what I want to major in so now I just have to find a school that is good in that area. Im really excited about going to college but I'm also nervous. We did research today in school about colleges and we saw some of the things college students wrote about college and whats its like, I found out that theres a lot of free time and I think that's going to be the biggest change when I do go to college. Hope everyone is doing great and just thought I would write about what has been on my mind!!:)

Catching Up With Last Year

WOW............ I haven't wrote on this since last year HAHA...... I really just haven't had any time to write anything. Ive done alot this past year. Last year we went up to Connecticut and I saw my cousins and my aunt and uncle we had tons of fun we went to go and see a aquarium and a navel museum and went out to eat! I got to hang out with my cool cousin Emily and I love her to death shes so sweet and got to hang out with Nathan and Steven there also cool. The thing bout Emily is that shes my only girl cousin. Here is a picture of all of us together............... And then for Christmas Break we went up to Walt Disney World it was so much fun and it felt so magical haha. It was so pretty at night and the rides were so much better too it was a great experience and cant wait to do it again!!! It was soooooooo warm down in Flordia we wore shorts the whole time we were up there, it was a really good family trip!!
